Artist's Comments
The Volturi.
from left to right: Caius Aro and Marcus Volturi are characters taken from Stephenie Meyer's novels. they are described as Vampire royalty and they are brothers. by doing them I tried to respect what the author says about them and I also tried to give them a character. Aro in the middle is the one who's most curious about the world and about the people in front of him that's why I represented him while he's moving towards the spectator. Marcus is described as always bored, so I tried to represent him with that expression. Caius was the most difficult 'cause apart from the white hair, no other details are given to describe him. anyway I'm very proud of this drawing it was very difficult to do. they way the author describes they're skin, incredibly pale and almost transparent, and the way they're eyes were described was hard to reproduce. as usual I used coloured pencils. dimensions 33x48 cm. edit: entered in  's < i >Twilight Saga< /i > contestlink to the journal [link] |

Hello! I really can\'t tell much about myself, but I\'m Brazilian and I live in Rio. I have no talent to draw, but I LOVE making dolls! I also have a passion for Twilight and Harry Potter, so I\'ll try to contribute with a few chibis.
I've always had a distorted image of the Volturi. I always picture Aro like that old evil guy from Angel... the one from that lawyer company. Sorry, can't remember his name.
