I hate to sound critical (I'm not trying to be), but the other Tolkien fan art in your gallery is so much better than this. I understand why you did this, I love the movies, too. But so much Tolkien fan art is like this, so I'm glad that few of your illustrations are derived from the movie. I'm going to watch you in hopes of seeing more from you own imaginings.

well this was done, I think a month after the first LOTR came out? yeah probably... and as you see I rarely make fanart using the characters from the movies... and actually this was the first time I was able to portray the actors well enough XD

I also just commented that your Twilight fan art isn't Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. That's fantastic! All the girls who are inspired my that film are too stuck on the actors and I'm afraid that some potentially good artists are hurting themselves by not taking a chance and depicting their own visions of their favorite character.
